We at Translogistix (TLX) would like to share with you our plan to ensure we are providing sustainable service during the COVID-19 outbreak.

TLX plays a vital role in our customer’s supply chains. We recognize that our most valued assets, our drivers, are having daily contact with your business and your associates.

TLX is and will continue to take proactive measures to ensure all our associates are following appropriate safety and health protocols. All our drivers have cleaning kits in their vehicles, including a spray bottle filled with sanitizing fluid, which are continually checked and refilled. Along with sanitizing wipes, a bottle of liquid hand sanitizer, and throat lozenges as other preventive tools in the fight against this virus.

Everyone in our offices in Baltimore and Savage, Maryland have access to fully stocked cleaning supplies, ensuring that all work areas are supporting this clean initiative.

Every day we have a TLX Contingency Call, which discusses topics ranging from the general health and welfare of the TLX Team, any associates calling out sick, the condition of our vehicles, local, state, and/or federal government announcements relative to the COVID-19 outbreak. In addition, we obtain operational and service updates on all our customers.

During this unique and historic time, accurate and timely information is paramount to facilitate sound safety business decisions which may affect our valued customers.

Company Driver Management and Training
Translogistix staffs over sixty experienced delivery and courier drivers. Because of the thorough recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training procedures, all Translogistix drivers take pride in their work. All drivers are professionally trained to perform a large volume of diverse deliveries.
We staff uniformed and professional drivers for all customer deliveries. Translogistix has established extensive driver recruiting, hiring, and training procedures that ensure every customer receives professional, reliable, and courteous service at all times.
All Translogistix drivers are provided state-of-the-art, two-way communication equipment as well as industry-specific supplies. We use a wide range of vehicles consisting of cars, vans and trucks, late model and typically air-conditioned. Vehicles are inspected regularly as part of the Vehicle Performance Policy.
Vehicle Performance Policy
The Vehicle Performance Policy is a deep-rooted, comprehensive set of guidelines and procedures that govern the safety, reliability, and efficiency of vehicle performance. Driver vehicles are audited and inspected once a month. No vehicle is allowed in the Translogistix fleet unless it is in full compliance with vehicle requirements.
The dispatch department is in constant contact with all Translogistix drivers via digital communications and hand-held, two-way communicators for instant updating. Dispatch procedures combine dispatcher directives and computerized automated processes.

Using the dynamic information from the computerized order-dispatch software system, dispatchers communicate all details, contacts, and special instructions to drivers with advanced radio and phone equipment.

Proof of Delivery (POD) Management
The  POD procedure is an exhaustive and highly monitored process. Translogistix dispatchers immediately update delivery tickets in the computerized dispatch order system for POD audit trail.

Translogistix maintains both hardcopy and computerized POD, both available for our customer at any time. Additionally, our Dispatch Manager can communicate directly to our customers if requested.

Performance Management
We have based all of our performance management and tracking on years of successful delivery service, and on  problem resolution techniques. Using a ‘best practices’ model for performance management enables us to optimize our procedures on a regular basis.

This fine-tuning process equips our drivers, dispatch, and entire operations staff with the most dependable performance management possible.

We realize that we can never be 100% risk free regarding delivery performance, however we have the best processes and procedures in place to quickly and efficiently provide resolution, while minimizing problems.
